Pop-up Sensory Workshops are announced each month.

Led by occupational therapists and speech-language pathologists, our themed group events provide opportunities to enhance developmental play skills like pretend play and cooperative play.

Participants also refine communication skills such as receptive (following directions, participating in adult-led activities) and expressive vocabulary, while fostering socialization skills through creative expression and friendship building.

 

These themed events encourage turn-taking and sharing while promoting fine motor development (dexterity, coordination, manipulation), gross motor (motor planning and processing skills), and executive function abilities (planning, organizing, and execution). Additionally, children learn socio-emotional regulation skills (identifying and coping with big feelings, transitioning between activities, and regulating impulsive behaviors) within a fun and motivating environment.
